Hi from Virginia! Not too sure about the breeder you're talking about, hopefully others can help!

What kind of things have you done with your male? Showing, performance, working, etc.? Have you started his health testing yet and is his pedigree tested?Hello to all.
I am not looking for another right now. I have a 10yo female and a 2.5yo male.
He is an excellent specimen. My female was spayed as a pup. When we have to put down my female I want to breed my male for a replacement.
The male the I was talking about in my orig post was a big boy, but to look at his face it looked more Rot than Dobe.
We have our dogs are for companionship and home security. Our lives are to hectic to show right now. We researched the parents pedigrees before we bought him after the problem we had with the Beagle. I won't breed him just to do it. Too many people just looking to make a buck. What kind of things have you done with your male? Showing, performance, working, etc.? That's a great reason to own this wonderful breed but not a good enough reason to breed. Maybe you can get started in some of the venues I listed and health testing and reconsider breeding him until you at least get that done.
