We are now owned by a wonderful little 3 1/2 mo old female dobe named Quincy. Our last dobe died in 1982 and we still miss her today. We have gone so many years without a dobe and when my 82 year old mother asked when we were going to get another, that planted the seed that it was time for another dobe to enter our lives. And, we are so HAPPY we have her. There's just nothing like a dobe. We enjoy reading what others have to say about their dobermans. We may not post very often, but we will be reading everyone's stories just as often as we can.

The unspoken (but often written) rule of thumb in this forum is we WILL be needing to see Quincy as soon as you can post pictures
I know exactly where you are coming from with your loss. I lost my blue boy back in 1995 and I still miss him and think of him on a regular basis. These dogs have a way of working right into your heart and never leaving like no other breed!
