Hello and Welcome to Doberman Talk!

Hugz to Vyctoria!
Welcome to DT (also from Texas)! I hope you find everything you need to know here.
Careful Megan! He might be hitting you up for help on those ears!
Hehe... Megan helped me with Whiskey's ears! Welcome to DT!
No fair Evelyn, when you know that I'm looking it up on the internet right now..
Yeah.. Yeah.. I read how to re-dress the posts, and can't say I'm actually looking forward to it, but I'm also anxious to get my pup on Tuesday.. :)
So Megan... I may be sending you posts of .. "Where's the best place to go??"
Hi! Welcome from another Kentuckian. Hang around there is a wealth of knowledge here. Show us some pics :)
Where are you getting your pup from? I was sooo anxious to get Josie too.
I'd be glad to help you with ears...It's much easier than it looks!

She is an early Holiday gift from a friend actually. I'm thinking that was the easy part.. :) But the most fun is going to be puppy training. I watched how to re-post the ears after the surgery, and it doesn't look too hard. Looks like it also helps gain a lot of trust with them.
Thanks for the offer.. :) I may....:wavetowel3:
Hello and welcome from Northern Kentucky!!!
SO.... I have week one down. Vyx melded well at home. She's picked up potty training quickly and it's amazing how much she sticks to me. Evelyn Wolfe calls Dobe's velcro dogs..and she's right. She's stuck to me like glue and ready to please. I've taught her how to "sit" and "down"(from the sit) as well..and she's only 10 weeks old now. I looked into a training place local, but I think I will entertain that after I have her ears cropped and posted. Don't want to throw too much at her at once.
Only frustration with a new pup is ignoring the whimpering at night when you know she's full, tired, and warm. Same goes for me, when I'm full, tired and warm....I want to sleep.... But she's shown that she does not like the crate. It'll take time, but she'll get it (no doubt).
