Thank you very much Gracie's Mom.I'm sure i will love it here as everybody
seems as nuts about Dobes as i am,i even had my first Dobergirl Juno(sadly
over the bridge) tatooed on my arm.I love Dobes and once you have owned
one,THEY own your heart.

Thanks TracyJo she is my first showgirl all my other Dobes have been pets,
Tia just loves the ring and is pretty good at obedience too.
Someone said to me once the only drawback to owning a doberman is that
they don't live forever!

Hi and welcome from a fellow english dobe lover:cool2:
i'm on the lookout for another dobe pup at the moment, (i lost my last bitch Poppy last year). i cant wait to have another dobie. I once read somewhere

"to own a Dobermann is to be disatissfied(sp) with all other breeds. Never read truer words."

Hello to Lexus and adoradobe. I'm sorry if i am slow replying to people but at the moment i am only logging on at work, very busy preparing Tia for a double
header of shows at the weekend. adoradobe you could be in luck if you are after a new puppy Tia's aunty is due to have a litter in 7 days time so they would be ready after christmas, very tempting eh! I am considering adding to my pack,i like round numbers!!Both sire and dam are from good british and european lines.

Hi,

I'm talking to a breeder at the moment (Aritaur affix) and may get a pup off her, but she hasnt got any bitches left. ive never owned a male dobe before so dont really know what to expect (shes offered me a brown male) :)
i am a real fan of browns so am a bit torn as to wait or not.
if you can keep me informed regarding the pups id be most grateful:cool2:

BROWNS??? Do you mean Reds!!?? I have a male, he is the first male dog we have owned and he is the love of my life.. he is just wonderful to be around, loving, caring, loves to play, loves being trained and always wants to please.
As for him being a boy, He is what my mother would call a "Gentleman" he has never tried to mark in the house or mount anything, does not sniff "you know where" and does not lick himself in front of us either.. I just love my Spirit Boy...

Hi all,yes i know the owners of the Auritaur affix very well they helped me a lot with training Tia,they also know the owner of Tia's dad who was a russian import. They are very responsible breeders of our beloved breed.
On the gender thing i have to say most males can be hard work(not all)females are easier to show and train in my opinion(not everybodys opinion-------could start a big argument here) i have had one male, Max and he was an absolutley gorgeous loving dog- - -spent a long time crying over him when he passed.
Now frznbuns this colour thing, on this side of the pond we call them browns or liver and tan, and black ones or black and tans, it don't matter i just love them all!!!
