thanks everyone,

I'm so glad I didn't give up on him when he was misdiagnosed with a "bone growth disorder" that would require "surgery". Now, he really IS looking more like a "Toro". He he...

ha ha...........even with those floppy ears he still looks like he wants to chew my leg off :) :) :)
Yeah,

it's pretty cool. He can look up at me sometimes with that "sweet puppy" face that just melts your heart, and look really cute.

Then at times he can put his "business face" on and scare the crap outta the devil himself!

I remember that first picture you posted of him, looking like such a helpless sweet little puppy. He still looks very sweet, I am SO glad he is healthy and happy and doing so wonderful. Thanks for posting pics. Hope he had a good holiday.

In that last picture, he almost looks a little like a Rottie.
Yeah, I think he may be part Rottie, but what do I know? That would explain his muscularity, though. When I first posted some pics of him on here, some people thought he might be part Pit.

The vet I take him to said he's probably mixed with a rare breed of hairless Mexican dog, known as a Xolo. LOL. That would explain the super short hair.

Whatever it is, I love the result. His hair is very short and smooth. It almost looks like black skin. I wish there were some "expert" that could clear up the mystery for me. I'm just curious.

Thanks all for your comments.
