I will be picking up Ms. Red in a couple of hours. Very very excited right now...Hee...Haw!!!

This late morning as I was browsing Craigslist, I found an ads about a free to good home for a 4 yr old Red Dobe with the phone number.

How lucky is that!!! Ears cropped and tail docked...Just what I was looking for...LOL

3 weeks ago... I was blessed with Tiger and now this Red lady ???

God has been good...:D :D :D

Can't wait. As y'all can see a HUGE smile on face...HAHAHA

Oh those red heads can be sassy! LOL Are you taking Tiger to make sure they "mesh"?

Since Tiger is new to the household and you're thinking about a redhead, I would recommend getting both in formal obedience training, in separate classes. :)

Let us know how it goes!

Maybe first meeting away from home??? With someone helping you?

My redhead is my best friend but she is full of herself--way more so than either of my blacks.

Be sure to load up on photos and good luck!

Good luck, you're taking on quite the challenge, acquiring two new dogs in such quick succession.

Good advice, above.

Pics if you get her.

If peeps out there a half as nice and respectable as moms and dads here, we would have a better and safer world to live in.

:emo11: I wasn't late or anything. As matter of fact I got there 10 minutes early, too. Not sure but HOPE she is in great hand.

The woman who promised to hold her for me 'til I got out of work (only 3.5 hrs), gave her away without even a phone call to let me know so I didn't have to come. She lives in a dump/rundown trailer, so I am not sure the condition of the Redhead. That poor thing.

I am so disappointed and sad right now. Perhaps it wasn't meant to be.

Thanks kindly to all the kind words of wisdom.

Oh how dissapointing...I'm sorry :( I quit dealing with craigslist for this very reason...I would try to buy something only to show up and the item had already been sold or the owner wasn't even home at the time we had agreed on. Too many inconsiderate people on there for me to waste my time. Again, sorry that happened!

Thank you. It was only 5-6 miles off of my route to and from work/home, so it wasn't too too bad. I honestly don't think that the Dobe was in any good condition judging where they live and they were moving out was the reason she's up for adoption. One thing I'm pretty sure of though was no matter where the Redhead went to, she's in a much better hand.
It's awesome that you wanted to add another dog, but you might want to think about waiting until Tiger is really settled in. Two brand new rescue dogs might be a lot to handle.

It is sad and scary to think of where she might have ended up, yes, but I also believe things happen for a reason.

"The right dog at the right time" is a saying my friends and I pass around a lot.

It may be Tiger needs you more in the coming weeks and months, and this was the Universe's way of making sure he gets what he needs from you, without stressing you out and overloading you too much.

All you can do for the red girl is bless her and let it go. Perhaps she landed safely, and we'll all send vibes for that.

I also do believe that "It happens for a reason" and also "The right dog at the right time". These lines perfectly make sense.

Thank you all so much. Good looking out. :D
