I have never seen it before. With those ingredients, I personally will never use it.

I wasn't too impressed with the ingredients either.
The corn is what caught my eye. I can see why the coat may look better - flaxseed really helps with that (gray horses especially- makes 'em shiney :) ). Did I miss it, I didn't see any meat aside from some kind of chicken meal. I thought I read somewhere, maybe here, that the first 3 ingredients should be meats.

The first ingredient is chicken byproduct meal..which could be ground up feet and beaks, etc. Way down on the list of ingredients is herring meal. And even further down on the ingredient list is animal digest....eeww! This is a definition of animal digest: "Animal Digest is a cooked-down broth made from unspecified parts of unspecified animals. Any kind of animal can be included: goats, pigs, horses, rats, etc. The animals can be obtained from any source, so there is no control over quality or contamination"

You definitely want to see as few grains as possible in the first 4 ingredients, especially wheat and corn.

I dislike any product that uses by-products of any sort, especially in the first 8 ingredients. Murreydobie's explanations says it all. If you find that the dogs are doing good on it, thats good, but there are better foods out there that don't use by-products.
