The Doberman Talk Annual Halloween Photo Contest Is Now Open....

Thanks to all who all submitted photos ...

The following over the next few posts are all 16 dressed up dobermans. Can not fit them all in one post. Besure to view all 16 pictures before making your vote. Voting is limited to one vote per member. Good Luck to All. I was using the anti red eye on the camera so when the first flash went off she was closing her eye's,so i never had a shot of her with them open!!

This is not fair I can't vote on one so I am voting verbally to all the four legged contestants and their owners. Fantastic show of spirit of the season, I think all your owners should give you a big hamburger with gravey dripping off it.

Seriously they are all cute and wonderful congratualtions to all the WINNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERYONE OF YOU.

This is just a friendly reminder that this poll is for the actual members of this forum. Having your friends sign up for a membership while at work, just to vote for your picture, while is not against the rules to do that, its really not fair to the other members that participate on a regular basis. Thankyou...

Kratty, I'm sorry. But the longer I think about this, the angrier it makes me so I must speak up.

Respectfully, I submit it IS against the rules because the contest rules specifically stated the voting was open to registered members only and the winner would be named on Nov. 13. While there was a slight delay before the voting began due to unforseen circumstances, that did NOT change the stated rules, and technically the contest was OVER on Nov. 13. Thus, members who registered AFTER Nov. 13 were not eligible to vote. There were 11 "ringers" who registered w/in the last 24 hours who have never made one single post nor contributed in any way to this Board ever, and who all logged in on or about the same time this afternoon solely to cast a vote for (surprise!) the same picture. I know because I watched as it happened. I believe the voting was fair up until those 11 fake votes came in. Personally, I have not even voted yet, but why should I? Every legitimate member who has voted thus far has just been cheated by this cheap, sophomoric stunt. Personally, I would rather see a winner lose than a cheater win. Shame on anyone who would perpetuate this type of fraud. Kratty, please intervene with TD and don't let this slide. I will appreciate your efforts.

I have a feeling some people that I work with and mentioned the contest to may have come onto the site and voted for Iris without my prior knowledge. In the spirit of fairness I would like to repectfully withdraw Iris's photo from the competition. I am truly sorry that this has more than probably occurred and regret any inconvenience or bad feelingings in what should rightfully be a fun contest for members.. PghDobie, Thanks that's my husbands other babies(besides dogs). He has totally restored that and a 72DT. Quick funny story, The DT was in my livingroom during restoration and I was washing dishes and looked out the window and saw him ride by on the RT. I thought for a moment, turned around and yes the DT was still there and realized the MO had just bought another one. I went outside and he was grinning from ear to ear and said "remember this?" he had one when we were dating. Then he said to me to justify his purchase "the guy didn't know what he had and I got it for next to nothing". Well a few LOL dollars later, I have to admit they do look great.

Mensa would like to thank the three people who voted for her entry.

I was surprised to recieve any votes at all (I voted for one of the other entries!) so we exceeded expectations by a great margin.

All the Dobies look great, it's a wonder they put up with all this.

hehe! I agree! they probably wonder why we dress them up soooo much to celebrate halloween...and yet they dont get 3 plates full of food on thanksgiving!! haha. (atleast mine dont)

Some people who absolutely Love dobermans and are trying to get one of these wonderful pets should NOT be SHAMED on or Frowned on for honestly voting and becoming a "member" of this site. People should have a more "free hearted" spirit about this situation!

There is a big difference in becoming a member and being a participating member. 12 memberships were created from one Fed-Ex office in a 2 hour period and all immediately voted for only one member. I hope you can see how suspicious this looks. Usually someone who wants to participate in this forum will introduce themselves in our member introduction center and start participating. We have a lot of members looking to learn about this breed while they search. If you are serious about becoming a member to this forum, then I would hope you participate with our discussions we have. But you have to understand why some participating members will feel insulted by these actions.

If your the only one from the original 12 that wants to participate as a member, Then welcome to Doberman Talk.
