Hot summer day here. We went far away from all the people and Taby still managed to chase one unassuming man initiating play. People definitely don't think 'puppy playtime' when a full grown black doberman sprints at you at max speed... 😅 🤦‍♀️

I realized my baby boy is already 1.5 years old! Still compact at ~67lbs. We can finally start going on short runs together now that his bones have matured.

Your friend seems a little shy around the water. Mine was the same way until other dogs showed up and if she wanted to play she had to go out there.

This is what you see at our coast this time of year.
Cold, rainy along with smelly dead whales. Three in the last few days: Grey (immature, failure to thrive). Baleen (Hit by ship). Sperm (Orca attack)

Never had a whale on the beach but have had multi numbers of fish and the smell is bad.
Lake will roll couple times a year taking away oxygen fish death happens

Your Taby and our Neo are similar sizes, as Neo's only 69.5 lbs. @ 22 mos., but with big feet like a puppy!

However, these small guys make the best LAP DOBES!

My girl is 21 months (70 lbs and 26" at the withers) and loves the beach in So; Florida. However, she won't go in the water just runs along the sand until the water is close to her while many of the other dogs go in. I just love watching her run from dog to dog playing and wearing them out.

Last summer we found a part of a wale. We where at the South Atlantic Ocean. I wonder what happened with that whale.

Great photos! We take our kids to a deserted beach sometimes too! It's easy to see if anyone else is there!

Lol, had to have another look at the beach and dream. This morning we had to get out the ice cleats for our trail walk. It was slippery and freakin cold!
