We did our first blood donation today. Only took 30 minutes or so. They said she did really good. But she was in La-La land and whining most of the morning.
Not sure how long she had to hold still. They didn't let me back with her. It was described to me she got a light sedative, waited till it did it's thing, then drew a pint of blood and clipped her nails. Was a little bummed they actually clipped her nails cause that gives me the hebie-geebies. I try to dremmel them a few times a month.
