*giggle snort* You should have told him they were "warlock min-pins" LOL
That made me snort.*giggle snort* You should have told him they were "warlock min-pins" LOL
Ok, that's just hilarious!! A wolf, really??? People never cease to amaze me....of course one lady did call Gunner a great dane the other day :emo6:I'm jealous----thought I did have one lady ask me if my first dobe was a WOLF!!
You know, the black and tan, cropped ears, docked tail variety--from the wilds of Kamchatka.
Well, of course! Doesn't everyone know that there is a large wolf population taking over downtown Chicago?? Good thing they are able to be walked on leashes though...at least they are nice wolves :biggrin55Perhaps I should add that we were walking in a park near downtown Chicago when we met her.
Pitbulls...sigh.....in my experience have had extremely irresponsible owners...this has lead to the over bred bad temperamental dogs seen commonly in this breed today.... It really is a shame, because the breed has so much potential.I saw a guy at the dog park this weekend with an unaltered male pit bull. He admired Elke and said he used to have a King Doberman. Then he started talking to another guy with a pit bull about how he had seen a female with coloring like his and he was so bummed out that the female had been spayed. "We could have made gorgeous puppies!" and how he is on the lookout for a female to breed with his dog. I had to just close my mouth and walk away.
Wow, someone really should have warned me that only the brown Dobes have the exploding brains before I adopted SimonWelcome to the club. I've never been asked if Luci were a King dobe but I've been asked about warlocks and she's been confused for a great dane and a rottie, I also got questioned about my rare red foster dobe once, a friend of a friend said "good thing you're just fostering him b/c its the brown ones who's brains grow too big and then they get the rage"............. I about died laughing. Then just the other day in the park I was walking Luci and Judge (gsd) and someone asked if I were going to breed them, as in breed them to each other............. it was all I could do to just say no and walk away.
OMG!!! he looks vicious!!! LOL. I love this pic.Do you think this is the face they make right before they turn on you?

Now that I look back, I can actually see the signs pretty early on. I bet it's even more likely with King Dobermans, right? That is absolutely the face they make right before they start to develope "the rage". If it begins to occur with more frequency I would consult with someone about it(I just love that picture of Simon, wanna kiss his little muzzle)
