Did your friend contact GCDR? Is your friend the owner? Would she be willing to keep (foster) the girl while GCDR tries to place her?

A friend of mine from childhood posted on her Facebook today that her mother is looking to re-home a number of dogs. The condition of them is unknown, but I am persuaded to believe this is an outdoor dog. Her name is Penny, and she is excellent with children.
I have contacted my friend about the Gulf Coast Doberman Rescue, but if anyone else is interested, please PM me.

Giving away a dog is very dangerous for the dog.Ask her to re=think that situation I'm sure they do not want the dog to be a bait dog or one for a Laboratory.
