The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area has two one-year-old purebred black male Dobes that have only 24 hours until they are destroyed due to lack of adopters.

Rescues are full. If you or someone you know can foster just one of these boys, please contact [email protected]. Transport assistance is available.

Rescuers have bought some time for these boys. They will be held over the weekend. After that...it doesn't look good. Please contact Francine Case at the above listed e-mail if you can help. Update

These brothers were pulled this morning. The HW-negative one will be transported to a Doberman rescue in Ohio. The HW-positive one will be boarded until a foster slot opens up for him somewhere.

They are about 7 to 8 months old, active, energetic, goofy, affectionate, and have no idea how to behave in public. Why do people assume that just because the Doberman is an intelligent breed, a Doberman puppy trains itself?
