I just got my girl's ears cropped two weeks ago and she's in her posts. However I'm having a problem with the post on the right ear where the base keeps coming out when she shakes her head or is playing with my adult dobie.

I've used the foam 1/2" caulk saver that many people have recommended as opposed to 5/8". Any recommendations on getting the based of the post to remain securely in the ear so it doesn't pop out when she's playing? Thank you!

Try to lift the ear up high, and gently push the post deep in the ear, twisting it in as you go. Then, pull the ear up again and tape the very base, and work your way up! It should stay more easily!

Have you checked this thread out?

From my experience, if the posts pop out, they are not in deep enough. If the ears are small, you can cut the foam to a taper to see if that helps.
