I will hazard a guess that is 99 % of your problem with that one ear . You only leave them un-posted till they are good and dry when you take the posts out .
I breeder once told me that for every day you leave them un-posted it takes 3 days to get back to where you were at
Just keep posting them and leave them posted till time to change and then right back up
