Duchess Christmas pics...

Oh my goodness! I LOVE YOUR MOM for doing this. That is so great, and so funny. I took Rommel to the mall to see Santa, and Rommel wanted no part of it. He was great in line....with all the other people, and dogs....and smells, and being in the middle of a mall at Christmas...but Santa.....NO WAY! You should see the picture we did get.....it is terrible.

I LOVE the pictures LD. Your mom is a very sweet woman to do that for the dogs. Duchess is such a beauty.

Mine don't like Santa either, the ears go back and their bodies lean to the side as they understand that I am not taking no for an answer, they have to be next to Santa for pix!

Great pictures! Took my two to see Santa last year, Diesel actually liked him, but Abbie was horrified and barely managed to sit with him for a photo!

Wow, I agree! Your mom is the coolest to go to those lengths to make the "kids" feel comfortable. Plus, she makes an exceptionally lovely Santa! Pic #2 is fabulous, and #3 looks like Santa just told them both a funny joke. Great pics all around!

PS...your Mom could make some money posing for "pet pics w/Santa". I'd pay! Yesterday, I saw a newspaper photo of the "Santa" at the local Petsmart, and he looks like a crackhead! Really! Very unhealthy and unhappy-looking. He's holding a really old, tiny dog who is probably blind. No way this Santa is gonna let Oscar anywhere near him, although I bet if we tried we could rival BIB for the worst Christmas picture ever!

This is Bumpy's first Christmas, so he will be taking picture with Santa - with my other two dogs. One hates Santa and will only give a side profile and refuses to sit near Santa, the other one licks Santa's face until I can calm her down. This should be interesting - I hope the mall is still standing after we come through.

I will have to wait for Scott to get home, I think the picture is still in the envelope in his car.......thats how bad it was.

lol thanks guys! yeah she would do anything for the dogs haha. and we have a couple of polaroids from the petstore that it looks like santa is hanging poor duch! lol she also was pulling away so we got santa...me and a dobe that has a collar ringed around her neck with a tight leash attached haha and duch leaning away. lol.
lol the santas are a little sad arent they? lol no wonder no dogs like them haha. they are even suspicious to humans! haha.
lol that is why i said this year im going to try carrying duchess into the place...walking up and setting her down...since she wont budge to get closer haha.

I have to go against the grain. I wish I had a leather couch. It would take a less beating from the dogs. That might be my next route.

They are brilliant pics!! I think your mom is great(but maybe just a little crazy) to do that for the dogs.she should hire herself out to do canine Santa pics,probably make a packet this time of year!!
