Dragonman takes Winner's Dog

I am happy to report that my boy, Katoba's Fire Roller (Drago) took WD [owner handled, 1 AKC point awarded] at the Coeur d'Alene Dog Fancier's show yesterday (5/29/07). The sweetest part is that I was holding his leash as Judge Linton Moustakis pointed to us on the final go around.

It's official, Drago is a complete Mommie's boy. He did not show well for my Professional handler, Kathy Rambo, at the Spokane shows (Sat,Sun); I think on purpose - the little stinker. So I took him in the ring for CDA shows (Mon,Tues) and he was happy as a clam. We took Reserve Winner's Dog on Monday outside in the pouring rain and then Winner's yesterday. I'm so proud.

I love to see owner handlers complimenting one another in the ring, there is always that extra spark, if they are clicking.

Thank you everyone for the congratulatory comments. The Dragonman now has 2 AKC points. He still needs 13 points (including two 3 or more pt majors) for his AKC championship. We have a ways to go yet but are determined to enjoy ourselves all the way through this.
