Dobe Xmas Party

Yesterday at our Training/breed club they held a Christmas party for the dogs and their owners,so i thought i would post a few pics!!We played party games and Diesel and Gerry won musical chairs and Tia won fastest sit(walk round to heel and when the music stops sit your dog)and came second in the fastest down(the last 3 dogs having to down using hand signals only,Tia downed then stuck her ass in the air)but a good night was had by all.
I could only take 2 of my girls:sadcry: Mischa was in heat and so missed her first xmas party and Amber has a cut on her paw,not bad but i did not want her running around on the hard floor.

THIS WAY DIESEL(Diesel and Gerry + Abbie and Sarah(2dobesuk) in the egg and spoon race(but it was a potatoe).

LITTLE CHIP(Chip the best behaved puppy i know,HE IS A LITTLE STAR)

SMARTER THAN THE AVERAGE DOBE(Diesel looking suspiciously like Yogi Bear)

Great pics Brum!!! The girls look beautiful!!! Question what are the blue things on Chelsie's chain?

They are flashing beacons,I use a different colour for each dog so i can tell which dog is which when we go for our early morning walk(6am) over the fields.

Great pics! I bet that was a great time. I was thinking how neat her collar looked with the pretty blue things.

Its like watching sprites Zooming around in the pitch black on the field in the mornings.

I will try but it is very dark over there,hey DD can you pm me a larger version of your signature picture i could use that as the only pic i have of yours is of Harmony dressed as a fairy.

What a festive and very attractive bunch! Particularly fond of Chelsie's powder puff fairies and Diesel is quite the dapper fellow. Gotta love that tie.

Brum, we also had our training club party this week. It's an all-breed club and Oscar is the only dobie. Anyway, we had a sit-down dinner and in a very nice touch, our table was decorated with a lovely personalized place card decorated with our breed of pooch. Don't know if this will show up or not but here is a shot of my table:

Chip is the cutest..............he looks just like an older Yogi......especially with that "tongue-slurp" action!!!

And yeah, I got a few of these before "Diesel and Gerry won musical chairs", those darn chairs wouldn't stop playing commercial jingles over and over again. I had to dis-assemble them just to get them to quiet down. Darn loud things those musical chairs..errrrg

That is the best place card i have ever seen,they should be selling them for dobe rescue.

Great piccies Brum! I forgot to take any :emo11: Was too busy havin fun!! It was a great evening, all the dogs had a wonderful time. Abbie's highlight was helping Brum eat his food and Diesel liked winning musical chairs coz he won a toy ( which he's already destroyed!) Tia was fab in the fastest sit and Chelsie was just booootiful!!! ( Think Diesel has a bit of a crush on her!)

Brum that looks like a wonderful party - I wish I could have gone to one just like it! My Doberman club had a holiday party two weeks ago tonight, but I was too sick to go...... nasty cough/bronchitis/pneumonia thingie going around this area and I got socked with it.

Our party is just for people - mores the pity - it would be much more fun with dogs!!

OMG that sound awful,I hope you are feeling better Velm,I am just waiting to get flu or something ,
I have ended up catching something 4 out of the last 5 Christmases.
