DCM list?

Is there a way to find out which dogs have died from DCM? It seem that quite often if a dog dies young (6-10 years) it is assumed that it's DCM, but is there a list of positive results? Is there a list of living dogs that have shown cardio trouble?

Yes, but it's new so not terribly huge yet. There is info on the cyberdobes website

I also keep a pretty long longevity list with causes of death when I can get them here

You can also go to Dobequest, the DPCA database, and do a search on "cause of death". Unfortunately, cardiac deaths are input in a variety of different ways there..some of the deaths are listed as "DCM", some as "congestive heart failure", some as "sudden death". So you'd have to input a variety of different terms for deaths that were DCM deaths.

And even then, you're not getting anywhere close to a comprehensive list from any of these sources. While more people are standing up and telling the truth all the time, there are always going to people who obfuscate the truth, people who don't keep track of what happens to their puppies and honestly don't know how/when they died, etc.
