Does anybody know anything about this breeder? I have looked at their site and it seems to be ok. I saw (TV) their Agador at Weistminster in 04.

Linda Krukar who is Dabney Dobermans is an AKC licensed judge. Has over the years bred some nice dogs and some that have become well known in the conformation circles. Generally she's regarded as one of the better breeders.

I only know her to talk to her when she occasionally judges on the west coat (she's on the east coast). Seems to be a very nice person and is interesting to talk to.

I've seen Linda and Agador at many shows over the past couple of years. I don't know Linda personally, so I really can't say what kind of person she is. Agador is lovely and is producing nicely.
Very little health testing, isn't there? And wasn't he bred before he was old enough for much health testing?

According to the Dabney website, he's vWD carrier, thyroid normal and has been CERF tested at least once (which I think is adequate for a doberman). The OFA website has him listed as being good for hips.

I've seen (or seen pictures of) a few nice dogs sired by Agador. But to be honest, they all have mothers, and I think they're making a larger contribution than Agador. I don't think he's particularly prepotent-it would be surprising if he was, since he has an outcrossed pedigree.
This thread was started in 2006. Wondered if anyone cared to update their thoughts now -2012? I am looking at a "possible" show puppy out of an Agador daughter, Sakura.
I know that Linda Krukar moved to Florida this past year - so she is no longer based in the mid Atlantic region.
Is Agador still producing?
I could be wrong, but I think I heard he was retired due to prostate problems.

I was at an agility trial last week and talking with a handler who has an Agador daughter and she said he was sterile. Just what I heard.....

I met Sakura at a show and she was such a complete princess, I loved her! She "pick pocketed" me and got $20 lol and it was far too early for PRincess to be showing she just wanted to snuggle- i was smitten.
The house that Luka built. Sadly, Luka died early in the building process. Agador was/is a really nice dog. One of my favorite Monty sons.

For what it's worth, Royal Future dogs have been extremely successful in conformation in Canada in the last couple of years.
hi my ex wife and I had Cosmo after he was retired and he was the most amazing beautiful dog I have ever had in my life - I am still sad to this day he is gone from my life.
I don't know Cosmo, sadly Agador is now deceased, and from what I see, some of his breedings left too many vWD affected dobermans behind...

Agador was a carrier so not all his fault.

Certainly didn't mean it was. It just appeared to me that people the people breeding to him, wanted to pretty badly. ;) As a result, those affected dogs.

thats because agador was an amazing dog- while he's not necessarily what i would be looking for in a dog, there is no denying that he was an AMAZING looking dog with a super solid temperament - and i had the pleasure of seeing linda show him in multiple venues as well, and he was a great dog in multiple aspects. people bred to him for MANY reasons.

Are they still using his frozen semen to produce progeny from approved bitches?
