can i feed stella the pointy end of chicken wings if they are still raw? I usually dont eat them & i cut them off before cooking the chicken wings. if they are raw will they still splinter & hurt her?

Yes, definitely give them to Stella. They're good for her! And don't be stingy...give her a whole raw wing now and then! Sure Luis, it's fine to feed any part of a raw wing. That part of the wing you are talking about, when you hold it in your hand you can bend it back and forth w/o breaking in two. It's cooking/heat/age that makes bones splinter. Stand there and watch her while she eats the first one and you'll feel better.

Chicken is fine raw,the bones are almost rubbery when raw.

When I was raw feeding my dogs, I would snip the little spur on the end of the wing. I just didn't want to take a chance on any punctures, because that little spur can be pretty sharp. That's just my opinion.

Other than snipping the spur, the whole wing was good.
