what a horrible story! I'm really sorry you had a bad experience. I worked in a vet/kennel during high school and we were really concerned about keeping track of all medications and feeding and special treatments; even had playtime during the non busy hours. I guess it's a hit or miss. I would try to find a friend or pet sitter who can attend to your girl's needs when you are away.

Thanks for the support everyone!! Bella will be coming with us on our next vacation, I don't think I will ever be able to leave her again I would be too worried about her and most likely be stressing, instead of relaxing!

And yes tjmom, I will most definitely give her one of these :finger1: for you and for myself!!

The few times I have gone out of town since I've had Rudi, my sister has watched him. We pack up his "overnight" bag and he hangs out with them for as long as I'm gone. He loves her and her hubby and they love him, too. Aunt Shanna and Uncle Jerry. Their daughter is in Phoenix for college and their 14 yo son hibernates in his room with the xbox, so Rudi gets major attention from my sis and her hubby while he is there. They've made it super easy for us.......

I would be super ticked! If they can't take proper care of our family members or they have accepted too many at one time.....then they need to rethink what "service" they are actually providing to people.....I would freak! That is not service.....
I'm sure there are good boarding kennels out there....just seems like their has been a bad run of them on here lately.

XOXO to Bella
