This pound is a horrible, disaster of a place. I know several people in small dog rescues who have dealt with this hellhole and these dogs aren't placed up for adoption too long. Can everyone please forward this to others to try and get him out of here? If you browse the other dogs...most of them are called "shepards" whether they are pits to chi's....heck there is a pit on there even that they have under "pomeranian"! Amazing. Please forward appropriately...thanks everyone.

There are a lot of crummy shelters, and big black dogs get euthanized a lot. I would imagine that the local Doberman rescue is aware of her, but they can't save them all. If she came in with bite history, she would not be pulled by rescue. Of course, a dog that comes in with admitted bite history is normally euthanized immediately.

I hope she is pulled. Way too many people think nothing of dumping their dog in a shelter.
