Odin ears will be posted this week and the last 2 stitches out so I took his cup off to let them breath. He has some puffiness where the tape was and its red. I take that its normal. I took some soap and warm water and washed off the tape residue and the poor guy is try to hide himself and his head. It doesn't hurt him if I touch the puffy part.

That looks like Juno's ears. Rub neosporn & goldbonds medicated powder on them. You want the scabs to clear up. Juno had hers "folded" on top of her head.

I think you are refering to the thicknes/swelling of the ear near the tip, they do look inflamed a bit to me. Could be an infection or reaction to the tape. I would not be comfortable posting and taping over this for five days, for fear of infection.

Did he shake his head a few times? Sometimes that can cause the blood to fling towards the tips and make the ears puffy and purple/red.

yeah I think it was inflamed, it all went away. The redness and the swelling, the breeder hasn't gotten back to me yet about when I should bring him back to take the last to stitches out and post. They are looking really good.
