Okie, what foresight for buying the perfect-sized chair! Instead of a butt-print, it will have a ******* imprint. And in 6 months, she should have it shaped just right so that half of her body can hang off the arm in odd positions (yes, even upside down) yet still be balanced by the rear part firmly embedded in the cushion. She's beautiful AND she looks like trouble. Give up now and surrender to the inevitable.

Yes, what pillars of trength we are - not.....! I had also resolved that a dog would not be permitted on my bed. So where was Java at 6:30 am after the car service had picked my hubby up to take him to the airport? Snuggled beside me on the bed with her head resting on my lap. Well at least I draw the line at having her under the covers.....

I can relate as I used to tell everyone the dogs were not allowed up on the furniture unless they were invited! LOL that went out the door when the doberdog arrived! Also BD=before dobies you would never had convinced me that I'd be sleeping with two grown ones in the bed(thank heavens it's a kingsize).

I had the same *rule* with Mensa and furniture when she first showed up.

No Dobermans allowed on the sofa!

I managed to hold the line for about 30 minutes.

Okay so that didn't last forever....
But I've since strengthened my resolve... NO DOGS on the furniture, absolutetely not, no way, no how... unless your name is Lexus and your mom is cold...
