I just wanted to check in. I have not been on much lately, as I have been getting everything I could done in my house (my remodel was finally finished and we moved in after 2 years of maintaining both properties) before Blitz comes home, and it took a long time for internet to be set up in my semi-rural location. We are almost completely done puppy proofing the house. I have purchased almost everything I can think of. After 5 years of research and preparing, now it's just over a week away and it feels like a fever dream. I am so very thankful for all here. It helped pass the time, and really educated me and prepared me more than I thought possible.

We are almost positive which puppy is ours now. My handler has plans to meet him shortly after he comes home which is exciting. When he must go with her for 2 weeks to train for conformation and see a couple shows for socialization purposes I won't know what to do with myself. That's probably a lie, though, as I can still think a few things to do in the house, that are easier without a puppy tethered to me. haha

Anyways, brace yourselves. DT has a storm of Blitz updates pending. Thank you to everyone in our community. Especially to Doug and Jacque for taking a chance on me as a first time conformation home. I plan to make you proud.

I’ve been wondering when you were getting your pup. So excited for you.

I hate to say this , But 9 days is like 9 months till Blitz comes home , LOL

We are almost completely done puppy proofing the house

Blitz will tell how well you did , LOL

Like the others , can't wait to see pictures
This wait has felt exactly like 9 months, but I feel this last week will fly by as I am trying to tackle my self-imposed "honey-do" list before there is a rambunctious little guy following me everywhere.
Blitz will probably find 6 things I never even thought of on the first day home. I look forward to showing him off.
