Last Saturday was Abbie's 6th Gotcha Day!!Can't believe how fast time goes!! I was looking through my photos and came across a photo of the first day she came home. She looks so scared, she didn't want anyone near her

She has certainly changed from then!!
I found this one of her, she'd been helping with the gardening

And this one of her looking very relaxed!!

She has changed a lot over the six years, she's a proper little diva now!!

Ohhhh, that first pic brought tears to my eyes. What had happened to her???

Awww, it makes me remember my Mansen and when we first brought him home and how lucky we were to have him save us. Actually he made us fall in love with his breed and we've never been the same since.

What had happened to her???

She was from a puppy mill in Ireland and shipped to England at 4 weeks old and put in a puppy supermarket. She was sold to her first owners and went on to another 2 owners before coming into rescue aged 2. We think she had probably been hit as she was incredibly hand shy and she has a lot of scars in and around her mouth :sadcry: She didn't have a clue how to cope with being stroked and fussed, and was petrified of other dogs. She has changed completely now though I've never known a dog want so much cuddles!!! And she loves other dogs now! She is my first Dobe and totally got me hooked!!
