Well Im glad that she is feeling better after a rough weekend. It sounds like you are doing all that you can.....and thats all you can do. I hope things stay on the upswing for you and Isabelle 
5th Shot Update
Well, Isabelle went in for her 5th shot and as far as the cancer goes she is doing very well. This past weekend we had some serious diarrea - usually an immodium ad fixes her right up, but no such luck - plus she wasn't real interested in her food or water. She woke us up sunday night four times before we finally just got up at 5:30. Called the vet - she is taking a break from the herbs and is eating a diet of boiled chicken and rice (the food chopper thing comes in very handy for this). My husband stayed home with her on monday - his boss wasn't too pleased he was taking a day off because of a sick dog - oh well. As of today she isn't having diarrea, but her poop is normal either. So now I get to blend a concoction of boiled chicken, rice and dog food. She started drinking normally again yesterday too. She thinks the boiled chicken/rice puree is the best thing ever. She isn't allowed to eat the chicken raw - I asked. So hopefully her tummy will be in good shape soon. She'll start back on the herbs in about a week as long as her tummy stays good. We go back in 2 weeks for the 6th shot.1 - 13 of 13 Posts
Linda she has 3 more to complete the series. Before the 7th she'll have more x-rays. She goes back 6/6. Then after the series, she will be one, a maintence dose if I remember right - it is once every other month or every 2 months. She is now eating a chicken breast - boiled - some rice & come dry Innova soaked in water to make it smushy so it will grind up well in the food chopper. SHe loves it. Boiled chicken in her mind is the best thing ever. Her tummy is doing better She is still full of energy - and happy as a clam
