Okay everyone.. this month's theme is Dilutes *and* Albinos

Submissions will be open for the next 7 days (so until April 9th at 3:30 p.m. EST). To enter, simply embed your photo in your post as a response to this thread.

Size of photos to submit in this thread MUST BE 640 x480 or less

However, the original picture must be approx 3000 x 2000 pixels to enable it
to be large enough to print full size on the calendar. It must also be your own photograph. If you need help resizing or posting your image contact me and I'll be glad to help.

For help posting a photo, please follow this tutorial How to post a photo on DT

Once the entries have closed, a moderator (different each month) will select the TOP 10 pictures.

These 10 pictures will then be voted on by the Dobermantalk members by way of a poll and the photo with the greatest amount of votes will be the winner. The poll will be posted for 5 days only.

Winners will be automatically unable to enter again in order to maximize the number of people who have their photo in the calendar.

One entry only per member.

if anyone enters more than one picture.. they will all be deleted and that member will be excluded from re entering this month and will have to wait till the next month to be able to enter again!

Again Please re-size your photo to the appropriate dimensions before posting it. We have had some complaints about large photographs being posted and we need to keep it to a standard in order to be fair for everyone. If you need help resizing a photo or posting it please don't hesitate to PM a moderator

Let's see those photos!

I was looking through a bunch of my old photos and found a few really cute pics of a fawn pup i had, a few of my blue guy Filer that really showed the moth eaten coat he got as he aged.....but, I have always loved this photo of Filer as it shows his proud, self assured attitude so well.

Love and miss ya Boogie boy!

From one diva to another good luck Sofia!! If Mariah and Whitney could share the stage, then so can we! LOL

Love Saph- the BLUE diva
Share?? As in ummm... SHARE?? What a concept... I've never shared anything in my life... but if it was good enough for Whitney and Mariah.. well.. I guess I could try..
I have a note in to Aretha.. but her people haven't gotten back to me.
Good luck Saph, you really are lovely.

Awesome photos of your dober babies.

Now regarding : subject...Dilutes *and* Albinos:

I have never had the pleasure to meet these "special in your hearts dobes".

Therefore, adding a short title, like this is my loving "Dilutes" (and maybe there are vast diff. here) or this is my loving "Albinos" (with dogs name) would help someone like me - understand breeding differences more (in the gene thing)...just a friendly suggestion.

I can always guess, at what I am looking at, but would rather learn more...please keep the photos coming.
- I can easly spot an albino / but know nothing of the makeup or blend of a dilute, just trying to educate myself...with help here

I am not entirely sure what you are asking but I will do my best to help (and other people who might me more educated than me feel free to correct me!)!

Dillutes are Blue and Fawn dobies and sometimes in pictures it can be hard to tell which based on the lighting-Blues are silver/blue looking (see Darkevs pic for easy to tell example, my dog is also a blue but the picture I have up is only his face so its hard to tell) and then Fawns are more cream colored (see Brianne29 for an easy to tell example).

Hope this helps and sorry if I answered the wrong question!
