I have a gorgeous 2 year old(just turned 2 this August) Doberman that I am trying to find a home for. She is house broken, spayed, crate trained, plays fetch and is excellent in letting you know if someone is coming up to the house. She has an extremely sweet disposition and LOVES to snuggle in bed with you. She weighs about 65 pounds and will not be getting any bigger. She is also a minimal shedder.
She is extremely social with people. She needs time to warm up to new dogs. She is definitely not a dog you can take to a dog park but she will not hesitate to run 6 miles with you. Preferably in a home where she can be only dog or can be the alpha dog, and no cats. She is has some anxiety over children. In her last home they had a 3 year old and she needed a few days to get used to sudden movements but after that she was best buddies with the little girl. Children 15 and older she views as an adult and is great with. She likes to "work" every morning and night she checks every room of the house and the back yard for stranger danger.
The person who takes her should be able to be assertive with her. The previous owners turned her in due to her high energy level. She is also very bright, which leads her to be sneaky sometimes. The next home she goes to should be her forever home.
I would take her myself but I have 2 Dobermans of my own, one of which is Bella’s Mother. The breeder bred my female and I knew the people who bought her. The breeder didn't have room and even though I didn't breed my female I still felt responsibility to the dog so I took her in.
Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks! [email protected] or 425-531-1294
aww she's a sweetheart! Does her ear stand or is it always like that? She has a very pretty face. I also have 2 dogs atm and Im a little far at any rate, but she sure is a beauty.
as long as you are not trying to "sell" her, you may ask a moderator to move this thread to the rescue section of the forum where it would get viewed more.
I am updating the posting for Bella, Should be in a home with no dogs or dogs that are not smaller than she is. Should also not be with cats or small animals. She has never bit any small animals but she gets very agressive towards them. I would like to keep her int he Seattle area as my stipulation is that if there are any problems that she comes back to me. Here is a new picture! Thanks for the look!
