I stole these directions from another website--I think they should work.
To get to Fox Run Park:
Drive north on I-25 from Colorado Springs to the USAFA North Gate Road exit. Turn left and head east on North Gate Road, past the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, through several sharp turns, about 3 1/2 miles, east to Roller Coaster Road (if you reach US 83, you've gone too far). Turn left and head north on Roller Coaster Road to Stella Drive (about 1 1/2 miles). Turn left on Stella Drive. After about 1/4 mile, you will turn right into the park.
You can come up Powers until you hit Highway 83, then drive north to Northgate Road, turn left (toward the mountains). Then turn right on Rollercoaster Road and follow above directions--Rollercoaster to Stella, etc.
Once you enter the park, there is a short divided road which makes a T at the main park loop road. Turn right, go around a curve to the left and you will see the parking lot for area #1. (Think lollipop--go up the stick, turn right, and start around the edge). I think that's the best place to meet--easy to find, easy walk to the lakes and a trailhead, big parking lot, open fields so you can get some distance from whoever you need to while you wait, and still be easy to spot dobermans! My only concern is that that place can sometimes be the center of whatever group activity is going on in the park. I guess in that case, the best thing to do would be to stay on the main park road, bearing left around another turn--the next parking area on the left (should) be the parking for the ponds #2. Not much parking there, if that's full, drive around the park 15 times yelling "Have you seen any dobermans?" at anyone you see. Might work.
Places to meet?? Parking lot for the mining museum (just off the Interstate, North Gate Road), maybe? But I don't know when they are open, might have a barricade or something.
