Reputable breeders crop their puppies before selling them unless they are euro, then the puppies may or may not be cropped.

I would suggest you slow way down, research dobermans, the common diseases they can have, what health tests the PARENTS should have BEFORE being bred and what makes a good breeder.

It sounds like your choice of a breeder may not be wise.

To get you started.

contact Goldgrove, they are in Monroe and should know the best cropper to go to. Any vet can crop, but not every vet should so you want to find a truly good artist.

If the breeder can not arrange to have it done or you can not buy a puppy from a different breeder who sells the puppies with their ears cropped, Dr. Harroff in Kannapolis NC, outside of Charlotte does decent crops. The show crop is much better than the pet crop from what I've seen. My male has a show crop done by him if you look through my photos...
