Rule question on ADA, UDC and UKC

Ok DT minds, I need a little help. I have a male that I am head over heels in love with that I want to show a little. His calling is of course sport, but he is a pretty boy too.

But...

A few months ago he faceplanted some concrete and broke a canine tooth. Because of his sport career he ended up with a metal cap implant. I know that disqualifies him in AKC (no surgical corrections allowed - and would not be competitive anyway), but what about these other venues?

I have all documentation that it was a dammage and fix from the dentist that did the work.

He is such a pretty boy, I would hate to be done before we started.

check with marylyn, berlins breeder. UDC will accept it, you just need a veterinary statement and i believe a signature in your scorebook. she's on this board...

For ADA, no surgical corrections and NO missing teeth. Jett was kicked by a horse as a baby and lost all of her front teeth, except the canines. We had to get her examined by Daube who was breed warden, and send x-rays to Germany to get her bite certifed as correct but missing due to injury.

LoL! When we get some people interested in supporting a UDC event here on the west coast.

This is what UKC says about surgical corrections:

Dogs are to be disqualified from conformation events when any physical fault has been corrected by surgery or other medical procedure. This prohibition does not apply to any necessary medical procedure required to restore a dog to its previous normal condition, provided such procedure does not:
a. Correct, alter or obscure a condition that
would render a dog ineligible for competition, or
b. Improve an existing condition to the benefit
of the dog’s appearance, gait or temperament.

I would think that your pups tooth repair would be acceptable, although I would take along a note from your vet. In UKC 3 or more missing teeth is a disqualification, so even if your pup was missing his canine, he would not be disqualified.
