Looking for a handler

I am looking for a pro-handler near me (Central KY). I am dying to go to the national this year and wanted to know if that's something you book in advance? I have owner-handled in the past and still want to, at least for the singles. Any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Not exactly what town she lives in but I would suggest Karin Fox. I think I read she lives in Boston KY. don't know where that is.

I plan on going to the Louisville show next month, so I'd like to talk to her about it.

I have her info handy, too, if you'd like. She's my boys breeder. She also handled Dobes&Hounds boy, Reggie, to his championship.

I am going to the Louisville show to watch as well. Karin lives 15 minutes from me. I am in Bardstown. She is an excellent handler, not sure how many class dogs she has ATM though.

I'm also going to watch, my puppy is only a week old. I love to go watch. I just looked on a map, Boston is only hour in half from me give or take. Thanks for help

Aren't you kinda jumping the gun if your puppy is only a couple of weeks old?

The reason I say that is I can't think of any handler I've ever known who'd commit 100% to handling any puppy until it's close to 6 months old (and sometimes older), and they know it's a solid show prospect. This would be for any shows.

If you're specifically looking for a handler for the national, they're going to be even more selective about which dogs they'll commit to. Those handlers want to go there and win, and they can (and do) pick and choose which dogs they show there. There are far more owners wanting handlers to show their dogs at the national than there are handlers available.

Who is your breeder and who handles one's dogs? Good luck at the national

I know I am jumpin the gun, I would like to find out some info first. What their requirments are and get to know the person. If I can't find a handler for the national I'll try it by myself (that should be funny).
I am getting my puppy from Kettle Cove, Kelly Marquis has finished her mother and grandmother. I would like to find someone closer to me.
