Those were cute photos.

I was a little disappointed in the Westminster show. There were a couple of good judges, but others who lacked on catching conformational flaws. I really thought they could've done a better choice in finding a better moving, conformationally correct, etc. dobe. Shoot, even my own rescued girl would have been a better choice.

Also, I was surprised to find some dogs in the working group who shied away from the judge, when that's usually frowned upon in the breeding standards.

Well, no dog is perfect, but I have a feeling that your rescue would have trouble beating Victoria's Secret. That bitch, though probably not my first choice, is still a lovely bitch with dozens of BIS behind her and this was her 3rd Breed win at Westminster I believe.

I'm curious, so quick to critisize structure and movement (which is pretty difficult to do via video given the medium) what qualifies you to know better than the judges do? How many dogs have you finished yourself, and how many puppies have you produced that have gone on to become winning AKC Champions?

I'm not being snotty, but I think if you're going to critisize it should be based on sound knowledge and demostrated by having proven yourself in the show ring.

Here are a couple of pictures I took from ringside. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She really looked like she was enjoying herself, and there was a great chemistry between her and the handler.

Reigny has her great grandma Murrey's eyes...it kinda makes me tear up everytime I see her or see a close up picture of her.

I think she's very beautiful stacked, and she's very animated as a show dog-sometimes almost a little too animated.

I've been super tired from my whirlwind romance with New York City, but I'm going to sit down tonight and post some more pictures. I'm no Back In Black when it comes to my photography skills, and I definitely need a new camera, but I'll try to post the most focused ones.

Question? I saw one dog pee in the ring. Any points taken off for that or? Just curious.
Doberman video was nice as well as some of the other ones I watched. I just wish there was some comments. Like who they were. Some I know, but not all.
