I've always used a harness. My dogs do other sports and it helps make it very clear to them that we are doing Nosework. In Nosework they are allowed to pull and do other behaviors I might not allow...

It's pretty awful on video to watch her try on that first box...it didn't FEEL that bad in the moment, but wow. Yep. BAD HANDLER.

To be fair on the "exploding" box, it's not like she pawed it...

This trial was way back in the fall. We're really lucky that we have so many great trial locations here and such an active Nosework community.
