I am not trialing with Richter yet, but I absolutely agree that foundation work is critical. I personally love my trainer and her training style. She does not rush to put dogs on obstacles too...

She's great. Since she's a national level competitor I trust her...she also uses positive, clicker training methods. I'm fine with not rushing stuff :)
