Blush, Bentley, Maya, Royal

Glengate Radiant Red Gorrmae LC10D, BFL1 - June 22, 2008 - July 23, 2018 - Blush belonged to another member here (mary&prince). We believe she had multiple myeloma.

HIT Glengate's Rock 'Em Sock 'Em CD (2/3 CDX) LC11D, BFL2 - August 18, 2007 - December 17, 2018. Bentley belonged to my vet (not a member here). He had a nerve sheath tumour.

Glengate's Red Mayan Sun LC10D, BFL1 - June 22, 2008 - December 23, 2018. Maya belonged to another non-member here. It sounds like she had sudden onset ankylosing spondylosis.

Can Ch Glengate's Rock Royalty LC11D, BFL2 - August 18, 2007 - January 8, 2019. Royal suddenly broke his leg with no trauma, and is believed to have had osteosarcoma, which I had suspected but was not diagnosed before that evening. His xray from that night is not 100% conclusive but that's what they believe.

All very missed.

Very sad....no matter how long they're with us it's never long enough.

But all of them up in the LD10's or 11's and lots of parents with good longevity too. There's a lot of cancer-type stuff, but at those ages, you'd almost have to expect it. Wonderful longevity.

This post is just too sad...I know they all had long lives, but I'm grieving for my Glengate family

It's a lot of loss to suffer in one years time. They all made double digits - so something to be proud of there - but it always is tough to lose any of them no matter the age. Hugs to you and your puppy owners.

So sorry to hear about these guys Mary. Even with the longevity it's tough to have them go--may they all go where the good dogs go to run and play in the sun...

Well, now there's been another.

Rock It - Glengate's Ready To Rock Scion LC11D. BFL-2 (7 CdnKC points) - August 18, 2007 - April 23, 2019

Rock It had a rough winter mobility-wise. Her owner and I were really hoping that once spring arrived, things would be a lot easier for Rock It, and she did get a reprieve from the ice and snow and did do a bit better, but went down that day and they couldn't get her up. Rock It left behind her saluki friend, Raj, and her Doberman buddy, Dragon, who are taking it pretty hard. And her mom doesn't know what to do without Rock It's ball landing in her dinner every night. She is missed in Alberta.
