RIP Zoey 6/21/2015 - 1/20/2018
Zoey was only 2.5 years old when this morning a truck hit her and broke her neck. She died instantly, no pain. I still remember the times when I came on this forum to ask for advice for her rowdy behaviors when she was puppy biting crazy. She came into our lives and completely changed everything for us. In the 2.5 years that she was with us, she left me with bite marks everywhere, torn clothes, and a broken ankle; she caused many arguments/fights between me and my hubby; she was even once sent away for someone else to adopt. But in the end, She came through with us. She was not very well trained or behaved. She was too much of a energy ball. We took away her toys and bones. We yelled at her, punished her. But she never changed her love and loyalty for us. She guarded us and our home, even the baby in my tummy. Our son was born, She was so loving towards him. She let him pull her ear, her mouth. and all she wanted to do was to tick him, lick him to show her affection. But we did not allow her. And we got angry with her. How should we reconcile all of this when now shes gone forever?? so suddenly. Too late. She left us with broken hearts. There is no taking back for our regrets.
All i can ask for now is for her peaceful rest. Be happy, go run freely, go eat as you please. Because you are in heaven now.
