Me-- B & G

Good afternoon everybody ! I can't believe that tomorrow it will be 6 weeks the Little girl has been here ! SSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO I thought I would update you all and maybe add a few laughs for you all .

EG has been a hand full LOL She is the mouthiest puppy we have ever had to deal with ! The tops of my left hand and wrist looks like I got into a fight with some devils rope ! No kidding here ! But the last few days , she has gotten better as she is starting to lose a few teeth and No ! I didn't nock them out , or pull them

Coco asked about her big brother = Mr. Business , well friends - I think I hurt my son's feelings ! We have been to classes and all the Mr. B and me adventures we have been threw , then a year ago this month , we lost Ali girl - so that was even more attention , and NOW - I bring home this little wild child ??? DAD ! WHAT about ME ??

I'm telling you the truth here had only Doberman people will understand - She don't know shes a puppy , but she sure knows she is a Doberman ! Fearless ! ( Mr. B ) Curious ! Checks out anything and everything !

I have let the 2 together twice - the first time - it's to bad I did not do a video - I think you all would still be on the floor laughing , second time - it was very short , like right after it started !!!! EG cornered B in the mud room and he showed her his teeth and he was not kidding around . He has been sending many mixed messages to me , one minute he runs up to her pin , barking , jumping around , tail wagging , then the next second - he's talking smack . and NO tail wag .

So on to plan B or is it plan C ? So I put her collar on her along with her lead then left the door open to the office , the first night , they both talked smack for like 10 minutes - it was funny , she just laid there and let him do the talking then from out of know where she hooped right up and growled and barked - Mr. B hit the high road and ran back into the house , then he walked out oh so slow and leaned his head around the door to see where that little terror was at . The last 2 nights its been a non event - he comes out and lays down , just like old times , so I think this plan is working - some what

She is doing very well with her house training ! That is till she gets mad ! This has happened more than once - I took her to potty , then we came in and a few minutes later I put her in her pin , she then throws a chit fit and pounds her tray in her pin and then she pee's ! Knowing I will get her right out to clean her paws and the tray , she is to smart . But like I said , it's not very offend .

I have been working with her OB and will say , she may be the best in her class here - picks up quick ! Pee's on lead . and really leads pretty well on lead after she gets done chewing on it -- ( BTW , is a chain ) so she can't chew it into

Mr. B is acting better ever day - and acting more himself and doing the things he did before , I have really tried to give him equal time , but you know that's hard to do with a little puppy around . As I type this girl is sleeping in her pin and B just came out and laid down next to me - it just takes time to work it all out .

The worse think that G does is when we are outside - you would think I would see it coming -- but don't - yes my friends the drive by jump and bit my shorts - every once in awhile she misses and don't get the shorts but she manages to grab a piece of leg on the way by .

This morning - she was out on patrol - I seen her stop and do a few nose pocks - wonder what she found - as I walked out there , she looked up at me walking at her when what ever it was - she grabbed it and hauled the mail -( I then thought of Fitz and her Doberman that swallowed a baby rabbit whole ) I did not have to go far to find out , she spit it out !A Wooly worm ! Them little hairs on them that make them woolly - well they stick to there tongue and inside there mouth and make them drip spit ,drawl everywhere - I carried her in , I gave her a few pieces of food to work them out and then she got sick - threw up some juice , then she was good to go , Mr. B. also did that about her age -he never grabbed another one . lol

They are a hand full sometimes but its part of the adventure - learning the little things they do to tell us things , One more thing and I Gots to go - The second week she was here -- I would take her out , then say go potty , So on to advanced training Ken thought ! I got up out office chair , looked at her and said girl - got to potty ? she ran to the back door ( still in the house ) and peed right there by the door - good job girl - just the wrong side of the door .

Plenty more stories to come

You just gotta tell Mr. B to face the facts: Dober Bitches are boss- plain and simple! Tell him not to torment his little sister.

Show Mr. B this video of Eva demonstrating this fundamental Doberman principle:

Oh Doc you are very busy! These babies are hellions when they are young! I'm laughing with you. No I'm actually laughing at you like you all did to me when Sugar was that age

Hang in there Mr. B my sweet boy. Just remember Ali girl was the boss and now there is a new boss in town. You're still dad's favourite boy.

Give those babies a kiss from Sugar and I. Hopefully EG doesn't bite our noses off

I have a few WHY questions for all you PRO Doberman owners out there - Since I'm VERY new to this breed (39 years )

WHY do puppies go for shoes ? Don't matter what kind -

WHY do they go for the shoe strings while walking ?

WHY do they love to chew off them little pieces of plastic on the end of the shoe strings ?

WHY do they want to chew on the end of my shorts while sitting at the desk when they have 39 toys laying around to chew on ?

Why , when only sitting with my legs crossed , do they always go for the Big toe ?

Why do they Like to find where they glued the 2 pieces of carpet together and try to make them 2 again ?

Just wondering - trust me - I will ask more questions when I get the little chit to quick trying to chew the knobs off the cabinets - dang I got to go !

Dear new owner and novice in the breed (and liar).

I am basically a PRO and long time Doberman owner and except for the business about separating two pieces of carpet where they were glued together I don't have a clue as to WHY they do all these things and in the course of doing them poke hole in you with their little shark-like teeth.

But I was told by a real PRO and expert Doberman owner that dogs try to separate two sections of carpet that have been glued together because they were told by their mothers that the really tasty treats are buried under that spot.

Hope this helps.

I predict that Mr. B will be in love with her once she is a bit older. I've found that some boys just really don't like puppies. My Harvard pretended that Mabel did not exist for almost a year - not at 12 1/2, he does play with her some.... but not much.

Update time I guess - Her NEW " AKA " name is Rowdy ! So its Mr. Business and Rowdy ! Took her to the Vets last week for her last puppy shots - talked to the Vet and 2 techs on the phone - they were all laughing there rear-ends off - the common thing they said - Was Ken - you sure have a lot of dog there ! She is hell on wheels somedays ! Then as Mel said , She is the sweetest puppy when she is sleeping - LOL

She is so , so smart ! Sometimes - almost to smart for her age .

As for Mr. B - I have been keeping little one on her lead to keep control of her - OR as I call it , controlled Chaos !!!!!!!!!!!! No kidding ! They have been getting better and better everyday - Mr. B ran up to her the other day and barked and dropped down with rear in the air - tail wagging slowly , I gave her more lead - that surprised Mr. B that she could get to him , he jumped up and ran and I gave her all the lead - me in high speed pursuit with the lead around my hand - OH boy what a rodeo we had , Kadin then headed for safely and ran into the house - Little one and me sat down and then we seen B looking out the door - you could only see one eye and one ear - LOL . EG sat up real , real slow , then she started the Doberman sneak on him , one paw real slow then the next paw , real slow whit her head down , she did this all the way to him , B did not move , they smelled each others noises then she attached ! B again took off for safety - LOL We did this for about a half a hour and I had to Dobermans pooped out !

I took a few pictures this morning of her after I took her ears down - will try and post them up , they are on my I-pad .

Maybe tomorrow I will test the waters and let them go here in the office area in a controlled Chaos room !

Thanks for asking !

Ken

Gotta love a spicy girl!

Poor Mr B is just going to have to get used to all the chaos. It'll be good for him...put a little pep in his step again!

She's a beauty! But I do see mischief in those eyes.

Doc and Mr. B are in trouble!

You're getting great with the camera, Doc. And what a model you have!

I was so proud of her yesterday ! It was the first time that , she , on her own , went to the back door ,barked and looked at me , I opened the door and she had to do her business . Then the second time , she hit the door with her paw and then looked at me ! She had to go again , good girl !

Had controlled Chaos practice outside , First time , oh boy ! It did not last long , they got hot quick and EG was on a short lead , lol
