He's so cute! Congratulations!

Now is not a good time for us, but this does not help my puppy fever!

Thanks, DLS. So far this pup couldn't be a more perfect match for us. Third night and no crying or fussing, so I think that is the way it will be. Thankful to miss that! He doesn't mind the snow
at all. He did go round and round the yard to find a small patch of grass to use. Not sure what he will do the end of this week after the 12 " of snow we are expecting. Ugh.

In the photo he stole Jada's place by the fire today. Jada has been glaring at him from the couch, but he is not perturbed in the least.

Glad to oblige, ha.
14 wks today and he really is an amazing puppy. He loves the snow. He will go to the door to be let out looking steadfastly at the door as if staring will make it open.
You have to be aware as he won't bark to let you know he needs out. I have never tried the bell, but have read it does work and maybe we should try that as he is so smart.
He's gained nine lbs in the three weeks we have had him. We go to Petsmart every other day for a social. No comments about his ears thankfully. Just don't feel like any
confrontations. I was informed by one admirer that he was going to be a very large Doberman and she measured off about 2 1/1 ft that she thought his chest would be across.
Here is a pic taken today after he had stolen the cats toy - much more interesting than the dog toys.

I've used the bell on Indy and now for Helo and it does work. One con, I think they learn to ring it just to go out and come back in for a treat lol!

Doc, I do the ears. That is black athletic tape. It is stretchy and you have to be ultra careful when using it. The only reason I used it on him is because it keeps the tape clean and the tape job lasts longer, plus I do like the look. If you use it you just lay in around the ear, do not stretch it or it can tighten and cut off circulation and do irreparable damage.

And in response to your question how I can let him go back to my daughters after being here during the day for nine hours? Ohhh, let me count the ways ......
Like, a sigh of relief, a nap, a cup of coffee and a book lots of other things.
