Question Anyone have experiences with Bridger Veterinary Hospital in Helena, MT?

Hey everyone,

It's been a long time. We might possibly be welcoming a new baby boy. He'll be coming from a breeder I've known for about 10 years, in Canada. I'm in AZ so we're trying to work out some logistics I wasn't ready for. This is the first litter since the husbandry laws were passed in Alberta so she's going to be bringing the puppies to be cropped across the border to Montana. She's planning on using Keith Stav, DVM at Bridger Veterinary Hospital in Helena, MT. I've spoken to the office and the doc and all are really accommodating but, they're old school and don't have any social media presence.

I was hoping someone on here might have used them and would be willing to share pics. They're working on getting me some references but, part of their situation is that they crop for a lot of breeders and don't always know the final destination of the puppies, and I get that.

This normally wouldn't be an issue since we have docs in Cali that we like but, apparently the rules for shipping puppies by air have changed since my girls have grown up and passed. No more flying at 8 weeks like we used to. That combined with a christmas holiday and less vet availability - here we are considering this new doc. We're already going to be flying one way and driving the little guy back and yes, that takes me past Dr. Pew in UT but.... I dunno I want to give this guy a shot and was hoping someone here might be able to make me more comfortable with their awesome photos

Thanks in advance everyone

I appreciate the input - Dr Jezbera's ears are actually more my style but, with the situation being what it is, he's booked. Dr Pew does nice crops but, they're just not my personal preference. If it's between Pew and Soltero, who's right down the road almost, I'd probably just go with Soltero.

It's always an option but considering the convenience and how things are rolling right now, I'm really hoping someone has Dr. Stav experiences they can share.
