Hello all Odin is 8 Months old. Just wondering if its too late to fix the small crease in his ears with posting. Ive tried breath rite strips and they don't seem strong enough for this. As for posting I've just started doing them again but honestly intermittently and now they've been off for a couple days. Wondering if I should even continue/start-up again since 8 Months is quite old.
Pics Below.
Not the greatest pics but hope you guys get the idea.

What crease are you talking about? There is a natural vertical fold along the inside edge - is that what you are talking about??
Also, if you want the ears to look less fuzzy, try trimming along the cut edge with electric trimmers.
You can see the natural fold in this picture - it is supposed to be there. We leave it folded when taping ears. Jezebel Summer 2018 by Mary Jo Ansel, on Flickr

One last picture of a trimmed ear - trimmed along the cut edge, inside fuzzies, and the floof at the bottom. In case you were wondering, this picture is of the same dog as the posted puppy..... more than 10 years apart! It is just a very sharp look and what we do for the conformation show ring.... but all my dogs get trims for life because I like the look. DSC_8435 by Mary Jo Ansel, on Flickr
Yes, if that's what you are talking about, all dogs have that little fold at the front edge of the ear, where it attaches to the skull. You can see it easily on Lily, since she has such short hair, but if you look under the fluff, it's there on Leo, as well.
If that (see above posts by several DTers) is the fold you are talking about it's supposed to be there and if you look at a whole bunch of dogs (and cats) of every breed, cropped and not cropped you'll see that fold is there on all of them.
So if that's the fold, you can stop trying to get rid of it--it belongs there and will simply keep folding back into it's normal position if you keep trying to unfold it and 'fix' it by posting.
And for future reference 8 months isn't really 'quite' old--with long crops in style and lengthy of a modern show crop many dogs end up being posted well past a year.
But from the picture of your cute boy I'd say you were done--don't see any crease/fold except the one that's supposed to be there.
I don't see anything that's a "crease" either. His left ear is the tiniest bit less straight than the right, but I'm not sure I'd do much personally. I don't see anything (to me) that I would worry about in terms of continuing to post - I think you've done a good job posting and anything you're seeing is just the shape of the crop and the natural bends in the ears that are supposed to be there (as others have already said).
Definitely see what you guys mean. Honestly never ever noticed that crease before, I do see it in the longer crops but it still didn't register to me. It seems like it's the crop length/shape like Meadowcat mentioned. Honestly this forums is like way better than google. Thanks all.
