LOL... Nice "spin"

Still, for a one off, long haired, weirdly colored, honorary Dobe, Rollo does not have the Patented Doberman Spin Move down.

Every boy I have ever owned does it in rough play. When in close, they spin to get their face away and use their butt to knock the other dog off balance. At least when they make a connection. It happens in about one second. They end up facing their "opponent" again, but in a superior position.

I have always assumed it was a fighting maneuver. both defensive and offensive.

Every boy that I have ever had does this during intense play!

Radar does this too! During intense play and if you aren't paying enough attention to him, he will "give you the butt". Just about blew my knees off a few weeks ago.

"Money can buy a lot of things, but it doesn't wiggle its butt every time you walk in the door."

I think what 4X4 was trying to say is that Rollo didn't knock you down at the end of his spin.
So he's not QUITE a dobe, no matter how much he tries.
