Ha-ha yes, I am probably way too obsessed over the ears! He was exactly 12 weeks there. This boy is definitely very male, bossy, and showy. You should really see some of the heads on the other puppies from this litter though, wow.

Oh oh, I must have blown my cover (probably more than once) here and admitted that I'm a dyed in the wool head hunter.

Actually that was my first thought when I looked at the ear pictures--"what a pretty head".

Yes I am going to show him and may owner handle some. The new points schedule came out and is very favorable for dogs here.

What a handsome pup! Over the years, we have only had black males. Kind of stuck in cement I guess...

More and more, i've been thinking about a red. It's going to have to be a female because I'm done with worrying about and/or dealing with SSA. Both Sheriff and McCoy are "Stand their ground" kind of dogs. Not overtly aggressive, but not the type to back down from any kind of confrontation. Ever. Plus... Never having owned a red Dobe (or a bitch), I can expand my horizons! LOL.

Again. your little (?!?) guy is my idea of a beautiful Doberman puppy.

John

Edit to say: Gorgeous head and face.

Thanks. I think your boy would love a little red girl to call his own. There really is no difference red vs. black but when you've had red something in your head tells you there IS and they are special because of that. My first was a red dog.

Not me either.

I really like his head--nice long muzzle--matches his top skull in length. Full muzzle too. Very nice crop as well--who cropped him?
