This is why I ask before doing things.
Ok, I understand! No jumping or weaving. Thank you! I definitely don't want to do anything to hurt my puppy.
He has been out. We go on car rides often so he can see and smells that are beyond our house, plus experience being in a car. We've gone through fast food drive throughs, car washes, and visited family members who don't have pets.
People come to my house as well, so he's seen other people. I've been told not to bring him around other dogs, even if they're fully vaccinated, because you never know what may be on their paws that might've been trailed into the house. For me, I figured it's better safe than sorry when it comes to his health. He'll be fully vaccinated next Friday.
I've thought about taking him to Lowes, but have been wary of potty accidents. And I don't know what other dogs have been there, since they are a dog friendly place. If I do bring him, do y'all think having him walk would be better, or should I have him in a cart?
Thank you for the online recommendation,
! I'll definitely look up nosework stuff. I've practiced hiding his treats underneath boxes for him to find, but haven't done that as often as I probably should.
