Bump between Grizzlys eyes
Grizzly has a bump, between his eyes. It's about the size of a pee, and looks almost like a mosquito bite? It has been there about a week. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, it's not red and hasn't been swollen. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what it could be and if I should take him in to the vet?

They are known as "puppy warts". It is very common and unless is is occurring inside the mouth, it is no big deal. Generally(if it is Papilloma) they dissolve or fall off with time. My youngest had several on his muzzle. One was huge. They all fell off.
Puppies have an immune system that is just developing and frequently get "puppy warts".
Honestly, if you are concerned, have your vet put an eye on it.
Thank you so much!
I'm glad to know it's nothing serious.
I'll just let it run its course :)
Papilloma does spread. Again.... assuming it is a puppy wart. If it moves to the eyelid, I would see your vet. But, yes IMO, I would let it run its course. Also, if Grizzly is due for a vet appointment any time soon, I would definitely point it out.
Hey! How about a pic of that handsome boy next time you have his ears down....
Oh we will!
He has a check up next week, I will ask the vet about it!
We're going to re do his ears tonight, I'll take a couple pictures!
It looks more like an ingrown hair to me than a wart. My red tends to get ingrown hairs more than my black.
Could be a Histiocytoma, maybe, it does look a little red around the base.
When in doubt, a vet visit is best.
Hugz to Grizz!
I'm with John--doesn't look serious enough to warrent a special trip to the vet since he's going in next week anyway.
He getting so grown up! Did you or your vet get that last stitch out?
