Looking for Puppy or Stud around Lexington KY

I just moved to KY from WA State. I have a 6 year old female AKC Registered Black Doberman. I want to get her a partner, either buy pup or get her with a stud.
I don't mind traveling for the match.

Hi and welcome to dobermantalk. Your girl is very pretty and it's obvious she's a much loved pet, but that does not mean that she needs to be bred. Continue to love your girl for the great companion that she is and leave the breeding up to the professionals who do extensive health testing and show or work and title their dogs to prove them worthy of being bred. These folks are the ones who will safeguard the future of the breed and deserve our support. It's that kind of breeder you should be looking for to find the perfect companion puppy for you and your older girl as well. Have a read through this https://www.dobermantalk.com/breeding...-want-pet.html and the educational material available through the dpca.org website.

Please please please don't breed your BEAUTIFUL girl!M did you know that pregnancy/whelping can kill a bitch? She is actually entering the last THIRD of her lifespan and you want her to go through raising a litter? Wow! That would be very hard on her body.

Also, there are all the terrible genetic diseases in this breed. Heart disease kills 50%!! That is no exaggeration! Please, get a puppy from a reputable breeder for a PET and never breed your 40-something female!!

There are so many loving dobies, from puppies to adults waiting for a forever home from dobe rescues. So please look into adopting a dobe and not breeding your female. Adopting a dobe is one of the greatest things you can do to help the breed.
