I've been researching online. I need to find a handheld Carpet cleaning machine for pet stains. I'm housebreaking a puppy. Pit Bull Mix I think..
I wonder if the Little Green is being replaced by the pawsitively clean or if one is more powerful than the other. The Pawsitively clean has it's own Bissell page and is located in Petco, Pet Supplies Plus and Petsmart... Plus there's all the new cleaning solutions. I don't know what it's like for things to stay clean.. I have three large breed dogs. Who enjoy the furniature and my King Size waterbed..

I LOVE my Bissell SpotBot. It is just designed for spot cleaning but it is touch free! You put it over the spot, and choose either the surface or the deep cleaning setting--push the button and walk away! It squirts out the washing solution, moves its little brushes around, sucks up the excess soapy dirty stuff and beeps to tell you when it is done. Dump the dirty water container and you're done.

A few drawbacks:
1. At $110, it's a bit expensive, but it is well built and seems solid. I have an older model; it doesn't look quite the same; but I wouldn't think Bissell would change a winning design.
2. It EATS the cleaning soap--to me, that is the main drawback.
3. My carpet is old and dingy--sometimes the SpotBot cleans too well, and leaves a lighter circle where it cleaned. It's not the dye coming out; just the dinge. But if you live on a newer, cleaner carpet, I don't think you will have a problem.

i loooove my spot bot too. you can buy the cleaning solution cheaper in a variety of places - target is one, and online is another. you can also use other company cleaner in there - i like the resolve (and it smells soooo good).
