I have had to repair the Costco dog bed a few times because of dragon infestations, but it's a few years old and large enough for two Dobes who get along well together, they've shared one bed even when they had two available.
What would we do without our dragon slayers to protect us from dog beds infested with pure evil.

The Costco beds which used to run about $20 in 2010 now are usually around $26 or $27 and still a terrific buy. I have them in every room. I still have the rectangular foam one that still acts as a box spring for one (the other one finally bit the dust) of the big round ones.

My older dog gets that one (and the round one on top he inherited from one of our vets when her 14 year old mutt (springer/terrier mix) passed away. He declined to share it with the younger Dobe who sleeps on a 2011 Costco model (at least the cover is vintage--the guts are from newer beds whose covers got trashed (one by a visiting Golden and the other by the bad puppy who now doesn't chew beds.)

I should add that the cats also sleep in the big Costco dog beds--and the dogs are pathetic--they come crying to me that Flare (a very small black semi feral rescue who thinks Dobermans are much better than most people) is in their bed and won't move. But fair is fair and there is one legitimate cat bed which the oldest (and biggest) Dobe can just barely curl up in which he does any time he finds it unoccupied by a cat.

Costco beds--still the best bargain around in my book. And I also sew up the occasional small holes that appear in the beds as long as they don't see the hole, or the stuffing my dogs will leave the beds unchewed.

Love the Costco round beds because of the sheer weight! My puppy enjoys chewing on the beds that are light enough for him to drag around, have tried crate pads (thought less stuffing would be better) NOPE! We have gone through about 4 beds from petco, and the only ones he's left alone are the costco one, and a $120 P.L.AY Urban Lounge Bed, both are pretty heavy compared to the ones we've gotten at Petco.

Doberman Dog Bed

A few months ago i bought a dog bed for my Doberman. I got her the Large Dog Bed From Goliath Pets. It is very large foam bed that seems to be very tough.

I'd second L.L. Bean's dog beds, they have a great lifetime warranty on their products as well. They're kinda pricy but it evens out with the warranty, plus they've got several styles that all look pretty good. Craftsmanship is good too. This is the one I have
